Urban Decay’s New Products for Summer

El Dorado 24/7 Eye Pencil – We’ve written before about how much we love Urban Decay’s 24/7 pencils and the color range continues to grow.  Their new color El Dorado is a light-gold with a little sparkle of course!  It is the perfect shade for summer and really brightens up the eyes.

Guardian Angel – Is back, re-released and better than ever. Now Guardian Angel contains SPF 8 and comes in a cute new spray bottle – very sanitary and easy to use.  Guardian Angel is a very light spray-on moisturizer that is actually time-released to work over 24 hours. The formula is called “hygroscopic” which means that it binds with water, so it is perfect for when you’re going swimming in the ocean or pool or just whenever you need a quick spritz to keep your skin from getting too dry. This is also great for vacations anywhere the climate is pretty humid, especially if you have normal to oily or combination skin.  We love it!  However, if you’re from the desert or any place especially dry you may still need a thicker moisturizer for everyday use

3 New Makeup-Setting Sprays – Urban & Skindinavia Team Up – These three new products address the three main skin and makeup challenges we are faced with during the summer months: shine, dryness, and make-up duration.  Here’s a quick breakdown of each:

1.     All Nighter – This is a setting spray designed to keep makeup in place and evenly distributed all day and night long.  It was actually originally developed for brides and has been tested and proven to last through tearful moments.

3.     DeSlick (available in a spray or gel-tube form) – DeSlick is designed specifically for oily skin.  It contains light-defusing particles that disperse light and gives your skin a more matte appearance, while absorbing existing oils.  This is great to use both under and over makeup and will keep your makeup looking fresh – not greasy throughout the day.

Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizers (4 shades) – These modestly tinted SPF 20 moisturizers are great for those who want just a little cover. The lightweight formula contains minerals like magnesium, potassium, vitamins A & E, and even ginseng and gingko biloba to fight free-radicals.  Urban Defense’s tinted moisturizers are also very breathable yet buildable so you can apply more to reach your desired coverage level.
