Smooth Away

I recently heard about Smooth Away and was so intrigued by its claims I just had to try it. Smooth Away claims to be a painless way to remove unwanted hair without waxing or shaving. The company explains Smooth Away was discovered in Europe and is a great way to remove hair in sensitive areas while exfoliating at the same time. Smooth Away doesn’t use any harsh chemicals or painful hot wax. Each pad is covered in superfine crystals that seem to just magically buff away hair. It’s crazy!

I was pretty skeptical when I first got it. The directions say to use the pad to just buff the hair in three circles in each direction, so I figured it just wraps around the hair somehow and rips it out – which would be painful. But it’s not! It doesn’t hurt at all and the hair is completely removed. Your skin does look a little ashy after, but it’s just from the exfoliated skin and goes away when you put lotion on. There are a couple things you should do though for the Smooth Away to work best: 1) your skin has to be totally dry and lotion free, 2) and apply slight pressure but don’t press super-hard.
