Precious Cream

Living in a dry, arid climate all my life has been really harsh on my skin. I would typically apply lotions to my face that I got from various companies, but none really took away the fine lines and wrinkles, no matter what the claims were on the package.  I remember one afternoon I went through all of the samples of lotions in my cosmetics bag, and decided to use them all up to just get rid of them.  When I got to a sample of the L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Cream, I saw a noticeable difference that I had never seen before. It was really miraculous – only after a couple of days and I really looked younger without all the little lines under my eyes.

L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Cream is now my main staple moisturizer – nothing else has ever done the job that this lotion has, and that is saying something after years of sand, sun, and weather exposure to my skin. I love this moisturizer because it goes on light and it works hard. If you want to even more intense treatment – the Immortelle Cream Mask is heartier and is one of my favorites as well for those weeks when your skin really needs nourishment.

It’s remarkable how well these two products work. I think these would also be an incredible winter moisturizing routine as well.  It is a little on the pricier side for a moisturizer, but you don’t need to use much – this container should definitely last you a while, even if your skin is very dry.

What I love about L’Occitane is that they use natural ingredients that are good for your skin. The  Immortelle line uses essential oils from a plant from the mediterranean called Helichrysum italicum – a wooly, yellow flower, as well as grapeseed oil and other natural ingredients.
