If you have not tried the Nutrisystem diet program before because of the price, they have just released a new meal plan to help you keep up your diet and weight loss goals, and still keep the price down. With this new plan, called Nutrisystem Flex, you are now able to get a month’s worth of food for less than the cost of eating out, and you don’t need to go shopping for 20 days of the month – the meals are delivered to you and you just reheat them when you are ready. This is extremely convenient for people who are working all day and don’t have time to make the food themselves. The other 10 days of the month is where you save money, because you can take weekends, or 2 other days of the week to shop at the grocery store for foods that are healthy and will supplement your meal plan.
It’s important to make wise choices on this plan, so if you don’t have a lot of self control, you might want to try one of the other Nutrisystem plans. If you really want to save on this meal plan, and you plan to stick with a healthy eating schedule on the weekends, then this would be a perfect plan for you.
The food is shipped to you so it is prepackaged, but it is made with the caloric amounts that you will need to lose weight, so people in general say that the food is not great tasting and sometimes not enough to eat (men mostly complain about this, so the Nutrisystem men’s diet was created with more food for the guys). This plan might actually be good for those of you who want to vary your tastes up once a week and buy your own food, and get back on the meal plan during the week.
Forbes actually rated Nutrisystem as the lowest priced weight loss program in 2008, even before the introduction of the Nutrisystem Flex plan. This has to really be one of the cheapest and probably the best meal plans out there right now in terms of convenience, support, and flexibility.
