Scars and Acne – A Different Approach

We all wish for clear, smooth, bright, soft-as-a-baby’s skin. It radiates health and conveys purity.

Those faced with the trauma of acne, especially cystic acne, suffer permanent physical and emotional scars. Acne implies poor hygiene, yet that couldn’t be further from the truth.

The more they scrub, exfoliate, peel and resort to harsh detergents in an attempt to clear it up, the more it flares up and fights back. Prescription medications have dramatic repercussions in other areas; they aren’t an ideal solution as they won’t solve the Body- Mind-Spirit imbalance.

I favor a different approach entirely. Stop fighting acne. Though it may be hard to embrace it, you must listen to it. The body is telling you something.

I want to understand what the acne is telling me about the individual in order to heal Body, Mind and Spirit.

The Color, placement on the face and how it appears on the skin reveal the source of the problem and ultimately the solution.

For example if it is a bumpy, deep, reddish color on the cheeks of a female. My observations would be:

  • She is eating the wrong food- cheeks represent the tummy. She should eat more green, leafy and raw vegetables and avoid spicy hot processed foods.
  • The cheeks also tell us about our relationship with family, friends and the public. Red is the color of anger, passion, fire and love. Healing in these areas will help clear up the skin. On the surface I would say she craves positive attention and recognition. If it’s on the right side of a female she wants it from family on her left public side she wants to be in the limelight.
  • Green is actually the color complement of Red. So green camouflage make-up, as well as green in her wardrobe and surroundings should be green. Absolutely, this skin needs environmentally-kind, gentle, green products more than most.
  • Nature walks with friends will certainly soothe her soul, perhaps a trip to The Irish Isles.
  • Technology to heal the acne – Foto Facial for the Red and Lamprobe to heal the cysts.

Scars will be best treated with a Fractional Laser (I favor The Alma – Pixel Perfect). This technology permanently resurfaces and smooths raised and depressed scarring. Hypo-Pigmented Scars can be re-pigmented through permanent make-up, though I am waiting for a new technology to reproduce our own lost melanin.

I believe in the evolution of Beauty – analyzed through the ancient art and science of Chinese face reading then treated through high-tech, color therapy, diet and exercise, make-up, skin care and more.

Be Kind. Be Beautiful.
